With the Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve in your backyard, the Rocky Mountains up the road and the Community Center around the corner, opportunities for recreation are endless. Within The Preserve, walk or bike on the Highline Canal Trail which intersects with an extensive trail system that covers many Denver neighborhoods.
If you feel like venturing a little further, drive an hour west to land in the heart of the mountains. Fourteen thousand-foot peaks (fourteeners) tower overhead as you weave through valleys and mountain passes and summits on your way to renowned mountain towns including Vail, Beaver Creek, Winter Park and Breckenridge. A hub of activity in summer and winter, these towns offer world-class skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, rafting, fishing…the list goes on and on. Colorado has over 300 sunny days a year and plenty of ways to enjoy each and every one of them.
